My friendship (and Stephen's) with dearest Anne began in 1977 when, newly arrived from Sydney, I worked briefly for a company producing international hotel travel guides where Anne also worked (making use of her Spanish). Of course Anne then moved to her career in television and later photography. Anne was loving, funny and empathetic. She was also a great finisher who worked very hard with enormous enthusiasm for whatever she had taken on. It was no surprise that she published 'In the Dog's House' in December. Anne organised wonderful holidays for herself and John and celebrated special occasions by inviting friends to join them. We have treasured memories of holidays, walks and meals spent with Anne, John and, in recent years, Beckett. We're very grateful for all our years of friendship. With much love, Elizabeth and Stephen
