I met Annie (as I always called her) when we met in the street with my new puppy. She asked me her name and I told her it was Clemmie.
She said lots of people called her that too. That was 16 years ago. I think about her a lot as I cross the road near her house or look across when I'm sitting on my wee terrace outside my kitchen.
She once called over to me and asked if I'd like to come for lunch that morning. Of course I accepted immediately .Meals at their house were always fun and I met a variety people I didnt know and the food was always delicious and unusual. Were they themed? I think so!
She always seemed to have time for a chat and was always interested in my life. Even a momth before her days she reolied to my email from hospital. She was so present and lovely it was very hard to accept the fact she wouldnt be around much longer.
Good bye Annie
love Sharon
