Somehow, every time I think of Anne, I think of the car journey we took to Normandy to see our friends. Anne, Karen and I had the most surreal and funny conversations the entire way, as I often did in the presence of Anne. We were playing music, and a song by Sigur Ros started to play. The three of us listened without saying an entire word. In that moment we all felt an incredibly strong connection with one another, and that moment in time.  Although Anne is no longer here, I’ll always feel that connection to her. I will miss you Anne.
